HOSPITALITY Lori and Barry Wudel return as your hosts in the Loft Suite located adjacent to the Expo Center. The room will be open Tuesday through Sunday 7-9 am and 2-4 pm. OBEDIENCE/RALLY PRACTICE On Monday, May 5, 2025 in the evening an Obedience and Rally practice session will be available to give your Keeshond a preview of performing in a carpeted room. The practice session will be divided into 5 minute slots. The first obedience practice slot is $10 and additional slots are $5. Only one dog can participate in a slot. Rally practice will be available at the same time in a different room. Courses can be set up for any level. The cost for a Rally practice slot is $5 for a 5 minute slot. Advanced sign-up is appreciated and will be given priority. To sign-up in advance, send your name, and type of practice session (Utility, Open, Novice, Beginner Novice, Rally class) to Dean Eelman at dean@kcnational.info. Day of sign-ups will also be available. Fee for the session is cash only collected on site. CONFORMATION PRACTICE Kristen Dowd will offer a ramp class on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the afternoon. The format will be a one hour show and go. Effort will be made to accommodate everyone wishing to attend. Instruction will be given for ramp, performance, stacking, baiting, and general ring performance if wanted. Fee for the session is $10 and is cash only collected on site. We are gathering a great variety of DOGGIE items for raffle fun. Tickets will be available all week for $1 each, $10 for 15 tickets, or $20 for a stretch. ART SHOW and SILENT AUCTION We have planned a special art exhibition which includes framed Keesie artwork donated by several longtime breeders. Ceramic pieces, wall adornments, trophies from years’ past – pick up something special at our silent auction art show. Watch our website and FB page for more details. 2025 National Ornament Once again Ann McHugh and Julie, the artist for our wonderful ornaments, have teamed up to offer the 2025 National Ornament, a cute Kees artist holding a framed painting. If picked up in Asheville, the Keesie artist will cost $31. For mailed ornaments, the price is $36 per mailed piece. Items will be mailed AFTER the National. Payment accepted by PayPal (check “Friends and Family) to annmchugh22@windstream.net or check to Ann M. McHugh, 8722 Pine Hollow Dr.,Novelty, OH 44072. The 2025 National will receive $4 for every ornament sold. Deadline for orders and payments is April 24.
